Responsibilities

Profile

• Responsibility for the general ledger and large parts of the balance sheet of a manufacturing company
• Independent execution of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Ensuring correct and timely bookkeeping according to IFRS and OR
• Handling classic accounting topics, especially general ledger, balance sheet, and VAT
• Preparation and reconciliation of relevant financial data for internal and external reporting
• Creation and processing of load files for group reporting systems
• Support with data transfer between accounting and reporting systems
• Participation in the optimization and further development of existing financial and accounting processes
• Active support of the team in transformation and process improvement projects
• Close collaboration with controlling and other internal interfaces
• Relevant professional experience in operational accounting or general ledger accounting
• Sound knowledge in the areas of general ledger, balance sheet accounting, and classic accounting processes
• Demonstrable experience in the independent execution of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Good and practically tested IFRS knowledge
• Knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations is an advantage
• Experience with group reporting, load files, or consolidation and reporting systems such as OneStream or HFM is desirable
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel
• Ideally, experience with S3 or Infor or comparable ERP and accounting systems
