Job description
The Functional Architecture & Prospective department is seeking a professional to update the IS map and its repositories, contribute to tooling these maps, and participate in data modeling. The role requires strong IT skills, analytical abilities, and data modeling expertise.
Project overview
Service: Functional Architecture & Prospective
Desired start of mission: as soon as available
Context / Reporting Department
The Functional Architecture & Prospective service conducts, transversally across the entire Titles IS and all its components, the classic functional and application architecture activities of an IS. It specifically carries out the following missions:
Ensure the relevance, consistency, and scalability of the IS, through:
Daily support for projects and IS evolutions, aiming to frame target solutions and support IT and business teams in the tempo of this work.
Mapping of the existing system, with the objective of maintaining an up-to-date IS knowledge base, widely shared and usable as needed, primarily composed of a foundation of crucial repositories (applications, software, flows).
Definition of general architecture principles governing the IS and its evolutions.
Unify the different teams around the chosen architectures, which implies:
Synthesizing a significant amount of IS knowledge,
Ensuring its effective sharing and dissemination,
Thus enabling teams to adopt the defined trajectories and subsequently contribute directly to these efforts.
Ensure prospective monitoring, both on technological innovations (and their potential business benefits), and on new business approaches (and their ability to rethink IT usage).
Build a pool of expertise available for specific missions, such as responding to calls for tender, projects for integrating new clients...
The service also coordinates general architecture work, in close liaison with, on the one hand, the various technical architecture cells dedicated to each part of the IS (TCC IS, Distribution IS, Transverse IS, Internal IS), and on the other hand, with the architecture bodies of the Crédit Agricole Group and its various entities.
In addition to the main missions listed above, the Functional Architecture & Prospective service carries out knowledge dissemination and internal training actions:
On the knowledge and overall architecture of the IS, for all teams (project managers, sales staff...)
On design methods and data modeling, more specifically for development teams.
The service is finally attached to the Steering & Architecture department, which allows essential proximity to the Plan steering.
Mission
Within the Functional Architecture & Prospective service, you will be responsible for:
Updating the IS map and the various repositories it contains (applications, flows), with potential interventions in the associated CMDB:
On an ongoing basis (as projects and changes occur):
By identifying modifications (addition, modification, deletion) impacting these repositories,
By collecting associated information from the relevant teams,
And by reflecting them in the map
Periodically:
By helping to conduct "review" campaigns with the teams responsible for the various assets.
Contribute to tooling these maps and repositories, with the aim of further facilitating their updating and dissemination:
Through the implementation of new features on the solution used (MyCarto from AB+SOFTWARE), autonomously and/or with the support of the editor.
Participate in data modeling work:
By pacing the reverse engineering work carried out by the various development teams aimed at reconstructing / updating the data models of the various IS assets
And by taking on some re-documentation tasks yourself.
The position includes daily interactions with numerous IT (primarily) and business teams.
Profile Sought
You have broad and solid IT skills, which you can mobilize, in addition to your various past experiences in the field of information systems.
You have good analytical and synthesis skills; you are thus capable of understanding and capturing essential information to document, without necessarily having to be an expert in the various fields to do so.
You master data modeling techniques (conceptual modeling approach, MERISE and/or UML languages) and are comfortable not only applying them yourself but also explaining them to development teams or reviewing/completing their work in this area.
Knowledge of the banking sector and/or securities is not a prerequisite, but can be useful; otherwise, you are enthusiastic and ready to dive in "head first".
On an interpersonal level, you are dynamic, approachable, quick to communicate, and capable of combining listening with the ability to convince / unite.
