Area: Warehouse Logistics

Responsibilities

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of a sub-area of warehouse logistics with 100–200 employees.
• Steering of operational processes as well as leadership and further development of several managers and operational employees in shift operations, for example in picking and put-away.
• Daily shop floor management, performance controlling and monitoring, as well as continuous improvement of operational productivity and relevant KPIs.
• Ensuring logistical processes on the shop floor, taking into account quality requirements, delivery promises (SLAs), legal regulations, and sustainability criteria.
• Participation and project management of sub-projects in the area of quality and process improvement.
• Collaboration with internal interfaces within logistics as well as with Supply, Finance, HR, Centralized Services, and Transportation.
• Creation of analyses and business cases for the further development of operational logistics as well as participation in budget creation.

Requirements

Advantageous:

• Completed degree in logistics or a corresponding professional qualification, for example as a Master Craftsman in Logistics (m/f/d).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a management position within warehouse logistics.
• Experience in process optimization.
• Experience in handling key figure and management systems or corresponding methods, for example Lean and 5S.
• Confident use of relevant software, for example ERP and material flow systems, MS Office, and Power BI.
• Experience in the disciplinary leadership of direct and indirect reports.
• Very good German skills (C1) and English skills (B2).
• Broad experience in all operational warehouse logistics processes, from Inbound to Outbound.
• Experience in process optimization specifically within warehouse logistics.
