IT Supporter Server

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Supporter with a focus on server administration for a production site in the Frankfurt region. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and processing IT system requirements as well as administering and supporting servers in production environments.

Your tasks include the daily administration of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux-based systems, documenting server-specific tasks according to defined processes, and prioritizing requirements in coordination with various departments. You will develop and implement technical solutions as a team, considering information security aspects, and participate in defining and further developing technical standards and processes. Furthermore, you will coordinate collaboration with internal teams and external service providers and support continuous process optimization.

For this position, you should have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in network administration (TCP/IP, VLANs) and possess sound knowledge in IT security, particularly in firewall configuration and endpoint security. You are proficient in administering Windows Server from version 2016 onwards and Linux systems (Ubuntu, RedHat). Familiarity with compliance requirements in industrial environments (ISO/IEC standards) is required. Good MS Office skills and fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
