Seeking an experienced Head of PMO for an international S/4HANA transformation project. The role involves acting as a sparring partner to the Transformation Leader and overseeing the PMO and program management functions with a focus on governance, program control, and organizational development.

for my client, I am currently looking for an experienced Head of PMO for an international business process and S/4HANA transformation.
In this role, you will act as a sparring partner to the Transformation Leader and be responsible for the overarching PMO and program management function. We are not looking for a classic SAP consultant, but for an experienced transformation expert with a strong focus on governance, program control, and organizational development.
Framework Conditions
- Start: from 01.11., mid-November at the latest
- Duration: 6 months++
- Long-term perspective in a multi-year transformation program
- Utilization: Full-time
- Deployment: predominantly Remote
- On-site: approx. every two weeks in Holzminden (possibly more frequently at the beginning)
- Travel expenses will be covered
- Project language: German
Responsibilities
- Sparring partner to the Transformation Leader
- Setup and leadership of the PMO and program management function
- Establishment of governance, reporting, and control structures
- Management of Steering Committees and Executive Boards
- Responsibility for Risk & Issue Management
- Setup and maintenance of the integrated program roadmap
- Program controlling and resource management
- Definition of program standards, templates, and working methods
- Management of complex transformation initiatives in the S/4HANA environment

- Several years of experience as Head of PMO, Program Director, Program Lead, or comparable
- Proven experience in large ERP or S/4HANA transformations
- Experience in managing international programs
- Very good stakeholder management at management level
- Structured, pragmatic, and assertive working style
- Fluent German language skills
