Job description
Seeking a High Voltage Project Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering and several years of experience in planning and implementing substations and grid connection projects.
Project overview
Planning and technical design of substations and high-voltage grid connections
Development of solution concepts and evaluation of technical and economic options
Creation and control of schedule, construction process, and risk planning
Coordination with grid operators and clarification of technical connection requirements
Coordination, quality assurance, and documentation of approval and certification documents (e.g., NELEV)
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable technical qualification with experience in the high-voltage sector
Several years of experience in the planning and implementation of substations and grid connection projects
Sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (esp. NELEV, VDE-AR-N 4120 and technical connection conditions)
Experience in technical coordination and communication with grid operators and project participants
Proficient in MS Project and MS Office, as well as understanding of projects in the field of renewable energies
