HSE Site Manager | Energy Infrastructure | Lower Saxony

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an HSE Site Manager with knowledge in the field of energy infrastructure for the Lower Saxony region.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, alignment, and implementation of existing and new HSE guidelines on the construction site.
• Conducting HSE audits, including documentation and follow-up measures.
• Monitoring legal requirements, guidelines, and standards in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection.
• Coordination of specialists for occupational safety and health protection.
• Checking and documenting safety-relevant aspects and supporting the creation of work permits.
• Evaluation of construction site HSE reports and maintenance of relevant statistics.
• Professional advice to site managers and HSE engineers on accident prevention and HSE requirements.
• Close coordination with construction and project management, as well as interface management between end-users, executing parties, and the client.
• Participation in toolbox meetings.

You will take on a central HSE function on the construction site in the Lower Saxony region and ensure compliance with and further development of HSE standards through professional advice, audits, and consistent guideline implementation.

Elvan Civelek

• Technical/scientific degree, technician/master craftsman qualification, or relevant experience in QM, environmental management, or occupational safety.
• Further training in HSE management and knowledge of ASiG, DGUV regulations, and ISO 45001.
• Several years of professional HSE experience, ideally in the German energy distribution network or comparable infrastructure projects.
• Experience in audits, risk management, and safety-relevant documentation.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor towards construction site personnel, management, and clients.
