Responsibilities

Profile

• Technical coordination and ensuring health and safety requirements at the project level resulting from the Construction Site Ordinance (BauStellV) and in accordance with § 6 ASiG (Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health).
• Technical advice to the client's construction and project management in the implementation and execution of occupational health and safety programs, monitoring and documentation of disciplinary measures in case of deviations from H&S regulations.
• Independent site and workplace inspections, including documentation of observations, and conducting H&S inspections within the project organization (site inspection).
• Technical follow-up on the remediation of identified deviations within the H&S organization and the technical construction management.
• Technical execution of safety briefings / safety talks.
• Based on findings (e.g., observation of regular deviations from safety regulations), develop a proposal for improvement and provide it for project-specific H&S documents, risk assessments, reviews, and departmental topics within the project organization and the BEW departmental management.
• Reconciliation of H&S documentation of service providers on the construction site with the client's contractual requirements and follow-up.
• Technical advice on emerging H&S-related issues and provisions for training, awareness building, and strategy development in connection with the services to be provided.
• Technical advice on reporting, investigation, and reporting processes and checking the completeness of documents prepared by the client.
• Contractually relevant correspondence with suppliers for the client (e.g., minutes of safety inspection) will be handled exclusively through the project-specific document management system "ThinkProject".
• Spanish language skills are mandatory.
• Experience as HSE Supervisor, HSE Manager, Safety Specialist (SiFa), or SiGeKo (Safety and Health Coordinator) on construction sites.
• Sound knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Very good knowledge of the Construction Site Ordinance (BauStellV) and relevant occupational safety laws (e.g., ASiG, ArbSchG).
• Experience in conducting site inspections, safety inspections, and audits.
• Experience in tracking and documenting HSE deviations and corrective actions.
• Experience in creating, reviewing, and tracking HSE documentation.
• Knowledge of accident, incident, and near-miss management.
• Experience in conducting safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Confident use of MS Office and digital document management systems, ideally ThinkProject.
• Willingness for on-site assignments.
