HVAC / Mechanical Supervisor

Project overview

For a long-term high-tech/industrial construction project in Dresden, we are seeking an experienced HVAC / Mechanical Supervisor to oversee construction and coordinate the executing companies in the HVAC / ventilation / mechanical dry sector.

The position is particularly suitable for freelancers with experience as HVAC Supervisor, Mechanical Supervisor, TGA/HKLS Site Manager, Ventilation Construction Manager, or Construction Supervisor Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Construction supervision and coordination of executing companies in the HVAC / ventilation / mechanical dry sector
• Control and monitoring of work in brownfield and greenfield environments
• Reading, checking, and interpreting P&IDs / R&I flow diagrams
• Coordination of construction processes and interfaces with adjacent trades and ongoing production
• Supervision of subcontractors and assembly companies on the construction site
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, occupational safety, and permit-to-work regulations
• Monitoring the implementation of project-specific quality requirements
• Checking and daily confirmation of construction progress
• Identifying and tracking deviations and open points in construction execution
• Regular reporting directly to Construction Management

Requirements

• Several years of experience as HVAC Supervisor, Mechanical Supervisor, TGA/HKLS Site Manager, or Ventilation Construction Manager
• Sound experience in construction supervision / construction supervision
• Good knowledge in the field of HVAC, ventilation technology, and technical building equipment
• Confident reading and interpretation of P&IDs / R&I flow diagrams
• Experience in industrial, plant construction, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or comparable high-tech projects
• Experience with brownfield projects and working in an ongoing production environment is an advantage
• Experience in controlling and coordinating subcontractors
• Knowledge of HSE, quality, and work release processes
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working, as well as a high affinity for construction sites
