The role independently checks compliance with IAM specifications, independent of IT, as a second line of defense. The focus is on operational testing according to predefined test plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document predefined control tests in IAM
- Draw and check samples: authorization assignments, recertification results, privileged accounts, SoD conflicts
- Request, review, and evaluate evidence from the 1st line
- Document deviations and track measures until closure
- Check exceptions and risk acceptances for completeness and deadlines
- Record IAM-related risks according to the specified methodology
- Prepare test results and status reports upon submission
- Compile documents for audits by revision, auditors, and supervisors
Requirements
Desirable
- Experience in information security, IT compliance, or IT risk management with an IAM reference
- Understanding of IAM processes: authorization assignment, recertification, privileged access, SoD
- Experience with control tests or IKS audits
- Knowledge of DORA and the Three Lines Model
- Meticulous, independent way of working and clean documentation
- Very good German language skills
- Insurance or banking environment
- ISO 27001 or BSI IT baseline protection
