Job description
We are looking for an ICT Architect to work on a core banking system for a client in Zurich. The role involves developing strategic application architecture, ensuring requirements are met, and creating implementation roadmaps.
Project overview
For deployment with our client in Zurich, we are looking for an ICT Architect
Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic application architecture for the core banking system and directly related applications in line with the IT and corporate strategy
- Ensure that business requirements are structured and challenged
- Develop the reference architecture across all business domains
- Develop implementation roadmap, including critical path, dependencies, and "exit points"
- Support vendor selection, including challenging costs
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an architect (domain/enterprise) in complex IT landscapes, particularly in the area of core banking systems (record keeping, billing, and settlement for/of accounts, securities, payment transactions, and financing)
- Core banking transformations with various products and across all project phases
- Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), capability-based modeling, working in agile environments (e.g., with SCRUM, SAFe), and understanding common integration patterns are prerequisites
- Broad knowledge of banking applications, IT solutions & reference architectures
- German: C1 – Professional language proficiency
- English: C1 – Professional language proficiency – Advanced (CAE)
