ICT Scrum Master

Project overview

For a long-term and demanding digitalization project in the Swiss federal environment, we are looking for an experienced ICT Scrum Master (m/f/d).

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and continuously developing agile working methods, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring efficient collaboration within a scaled agile project environment.

You will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and other project stakeholders to support the successful implementation of complex ICT projects.

Responsibilities

Establishment, further development, and maintenance of agile working methods and team working agreements

Adaptation of agile practices to the HERMES project context

Support of the Product Owner in maintaining the Product Backlog

Definition and tracking of KPIs and OKRs at team and ART level

Introduction and ensuring adherence to Definition of Done and Definition of Ready

Documentation of relevant agile artifacts and sprint results

Planning, moderation, and follow-up of agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives

Conducting and supporting SAFe ceremonies at the Agile Release Train (ART) level

Coaching and empowering team members regarding agile methods and ways of working

Identification, documentation, and support in removing impediments

Continuous optimization of team performance and collaboration

Setup and maintenance of dependency management in Jira and Confluence

Coordination with other agile teams within the Agile Release Train and with external partners

Ensuring transparency regarding sprint progress and dependencies

Continuous improvement of processes, tools, and communication channels

Support in the integration and on-site support of external suppliers

Creation of regular status reports

Requirements

Several years of practical experience as a Scrum Master in complex ICT projects

Sound knowledge of Scrum, agile methods, and scaled agile frameworks, especially SAFe

Experience with HERMES or comparable project management methods

Proficient use of Jira and Confluence

Experience in moderating agile meetings and coaching interdisciplinary teams

Strong communication and moderation skills

Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

Very good German language skills

Experience in the Swiss federal environment
