ICT System Engineer 80% – OpenShift / Kubernetes / Linux / Ansible

For a demanding platform and infrastructure environment, we are looking for an experienced personality as an ICT System Engineer with a focus on Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and the operation of modern platforms in on-premise and cloud environments.

In this role, you will support an agile team in the operation, lifecycle, and further development of existing OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. In addition to stable operation, the focus is on analysis, optimization, proactive tuning, and handling of incidents, problems, and changes.

• Operation, lifecycle, and further development of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in on-premise and cloud environments
• Analysis, optimization, and proactive tuning of existing platforms
• Reception, analysis, and resolution of disruptions within the scope of incident and problem management
• Planning and execution of changes within the scope of change management
• Processing of Jira tickets according to assignment by the Product Owner
• Participation in the agile team and attendance at ceremonies within sprints and PI Planning
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders in the platform, operations, and application environment
• Several years of experience as an ICT System Engineer in operating complex platform or infrastructure environments
• Very good knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, especially in the on-premise environment
• Experience with Linux, ideally RHEL
• Good knowledge of Ansible
• Basic understanding of network, security, storage, and operating systems
• Experience with Splunk and ServiceNow is an advantage
• Knowledge of Oracle Forms, ADF, and WLS is an advantage
• Experience working with agile methods such as SAFe and Scrum
• Knowledge of ITIL and experience in incident, problem, and change management
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Good German and English skills
