Industrial Data & IT/OT Integration Architect Shopfloor

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Data & IT/OT Integration Architect (m/f/d) for an exciting project in the field of manufacturing data integration. This full-time position can be filled remotely and offers the opportunity to work at the interface between shopfloor technologies, cloud data platforms, and ERP systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall technical architecture of the data infrastructure and interface coordination. Your tasks include the conception and setup of robust ETL data pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and migration of heterogeneous data from production facilities, sensor technology, and computer vision systems. You will coordinate the connection of shopfloor data sources such as automation technology and control systems, ensuring consistent data flows along the entire manufacturing and processing chain.

Furthermore, you will take on technical responsibility for data modeling and processing in ERP systems, as well as defining standards to ensure data quality. You will act as an interface between the business units and project management, translate technical requirements, and coordinate collaboration between the data, ERP, image recognition, and process departments.

We are seeking candidates with several years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or IoT Systems Engineer. Ideally, you have sound knowledge in the technical management of data projects in an industrial environment and practical experience from the shopfloor area. An IoT background and expertise in data aggregation from various sources are essential.
