Information Analyst (detach.)

Project overview

The assignment focuses on research and advice regarding the information in the current VTH system RX Mission, in preparation for a new information provision.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Inventorying the content and structure of RX Mission, including categories, volumes, metadata, and interrelationships
• Mapping linked storage locations and dependencies
• Analyzing data quality for completeness, consistency, uniqueness, and validity
• Assessing content accuracy together with specialists and responsible parties
• Determining which information must be retained or destroyed based on selection lists and retention periods
• Identifying bottlenecks in information management, such as incomplete files and missing metadata
• Gathering from the organization which historical information is needed for future use
• Developing various migration scenarios, such as selective or broader migration
• Advising per information category on destination and preparation
• Drawing up an action plan with priorities and planning in consultation with the project manager
• Translating findings into prerequisites and control criteria for the later migration
• HBO bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of work experience as an information analyst or data analyst
• At least 3 years of experience in information analysis and/or data quality analysis
• Experience with jointly analyzing and interpreting structured data, documents, metadata, and interrelationships (preferred)
• Experience with case-oriented and/or object-oriented information provision within a safety region, municipality, or environmental agency (preferred)
