Information Security Officer / Lead ISO

Project overview

The assignment focuses on the implementation and coordination of information security within the ministry.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Implementing and coordinating information security measures within the organization
• Drafting, updating, and implementing policy documents, guidelines, and work instructions for compliance with NEN 7510
• Integrating security and compliance requirements into existing business operations
• Collaborating with management, ICT, and operational teams to embed security measures in policy and behavior
• Developing incident and continuity protocols and drafting risk analyses
• Coordinating the activities of security officers and liaisons and monitoring the annual plan
• Monitoring the follow-up of improvement measures from audits, deviations, and incidents and reporting on progress and risks
• University work and thinking level
• Three years or more of experience with certification processes and information security at a government institution
• At least five years of experience with the implementation of technical and organizational security measures in accordance with ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and the BIO
• Experience with internal audits, gap analyses, and monitoring for compliance with ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and BIO
• Experience with coordinating information security activities and monitoring coherence, prioritization, and progress
• Knowledge of risk analysis and the development of risk management strategies
• Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or equivalent
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the field of data protection and information security
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex information
