Job description
The Province of Zuid-Holland is looking for Information Specialists to contribute to the functional implementation of the CALS (Central Archive and Legacy System) within the Information Transition Program. Responsibilities include process analysis, metadata definition, and supporting system implementation and migration.
Project overview
You will contribute to the functional implementation of CALS (Central Archive and Legacy System) within the Information Transition Program of the Province of Zuid-Holland.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Inventorying and describing information management processes and functional requirements
- Developing metadata, classifications, document types, and dossier structures
- Testing processes and requirements against current legal and organizational frameworks
- Supporting the establishment of rules for archiving, retention periods, selection, and destruction
- Preparing functional specifications, user scenarios, and setup agreements for CALS and linked applications
- Preparing and executing functional tests and recording results
- Supporting migrations and performing quality checks on metadata and information
- Preparing and maintaining functional documentation and work instructions
- (For medior) Independently analyzing processes, advising on adjustments, and coordinating with specialists
- Minimum HBO diploma
- For junior: Minimum one year of work experience with information management, document management, records management, and data-driven work
- For junior: Minimum one year of work experience with functional setup and implementation of information systems
- For junior: Minimum one year of work experience with information migration, metadata, classification, and quality control
- For medior: Minimum five years of work experience as an information specialist, information management advisor, or similar role within a government organization
- For medior: Minimum five years of work experience with implementation or further development projects of a DMS/RMA system
- For medior: Minimum five years of work experience within a migration project with metadata mapping, data quality, and classification
- Proficiency in the Dutch language, oral and written
