Information Security Coordinator

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Coordinator with the possibility of remote work in the Hamburg area.

In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and further development of information security and safety concepts, taking into account current standards and regulatory requirements. You will advise security management and relevant departments on technical IT security issues and conduct IT baseline protection checks, including analysis, evaluation, and documentation of the results. You will also create and conduct risk analyses and derive appropriate security measures.

You will model and evaluate information networks as well as security-relevant infrastructure components and ensure compliance with security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in information security, IT security management, or IT governance are required. You have very good knowledge of BSI IT baseline protection and practical experience in conducting baseline protection checks and risk analyses. Sound experience in creating security concepts as well as in modeling and evaluating information networks is necessary.

You bring experience in providing technical advice to stakeholders and have already coordinated or led smaller teams or projects. Very good German language skills (C1) in speaking and writing are required.
