Infrastructure Security & Network Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Security & Network Engineer for a global IT infrastructure team. This 12-month contract position offers the opportunity to implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise network and security infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud environments.

In this hands-on technical role, you will work closely with Infrastructure, Enterprise Security, and Cloud Operations teams to ensure global network services remain secure, reliable, and efficient.

Your responsibilities include designing and implementing enterprise network and security infrastructure, managing Cisco security technologies including firewalls and network access control, and implementing Identity Services Engine with 802.1X and network authentication services. You will monitor security controls, investigate technical issues, and escalate potential risks. Additionally, infrastructure and security process automation, AWS cloud support, network troubleshooting, and collaboration with global teams are among your responsibilities.

We expect at least 5 years of professional IT experience, including 3 years in a similar infrastructure, networking, or security role within an enterprise environment. Required competencies include Cisco technologies (ISE, ASA, Firepower), AWS, Python and shell scripting, SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Nessus, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux administration, and strong TCP/IP networking knowledge.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kali Linux, Penetration Testing, and security certifications such as CEH or CISSP is desirable.
