Interim CEO

Project overview

As an Interim CEO, you will lead a private equity portfolio company through a crucial transformation, growth, or value creation phase.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Lead the organization and be ultimately responsible for the results
• Develop and execute the strategic agenda together with the shareholders
• Achieve EBITDA growth, cash flow improvement, and operational optimization
• Manage and strengthen the management team
• Identify and execute value creation initiatives
• Lead transformation, integration, turnaround, or growth trajectories
• Implement governance, KPI structures, and management reporting
• Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, financiers, and other stakeholders
• Report to the Supervisory Board, the Board, and the private equity investors
• Prepare the company for the next growth phase, acquisition, or exit
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a directorial or board position
• Experience in a role as CEO, Managing Director, or Business Unit Director
• Demonstrable background within private equity environments
• Experience with reorganizations, turnarounds, carve-outs, or buy-and-build trajectories
• Strong commercial, financial, and operational profile
• Track record in profit improvement and value creation
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Decisive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented attitude
• Fluent command of Dutch and English
