Interim CISO

Project overview

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Implement the BIO2 gap analysis in the ISMS and initiate improvement measures with stakeholders
• Prepare an implementation plan for BIO2 with responsibilities, dependencies, planning, and resources
• Advise management on feasibility and risks and organize the kick-off
• Prepare for BIO2 assurance by providing documentation for internal and external audits
• Prepare the ENSIA college statement with appendices and submit it to the college of Mayor and Aldermen and the municipal council
• Justify the vertical ENSIA report to supervisors
• Prepare the action plan for ENSIA 2026 and start the ENSIA cycle 2026/2027
• Prepare quarterly reports for Q3 and Q4 2026 and have them approved by the management meeting
• Write patch policy, logging and monitoring policy, and vulnerability policy
• Train and guide the TISO in the role of security officer
• Conduct analyses, risk assessments, and document reviews and advise on security governance and compliance
• Guide workshops with process and system owners and inform management and the client about progress
• Completed HBO IT education
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as (C)ISO within a municipality
• Demonstrable minimum 5 years of experience in the role of ENSIA coordinator
• VOG (Certificate of Conduct) required for the execution of the assignment
• Preferably a minimum of 8 years of experience as (C)ISO within a municipality
• Knowledge of and experience with the preparation and implementation of ISMS, BIO2, and NIS2
• Practical experience in IT risk management and the preparation of risk analyses
• Experience in preparing and elaborating GAP analyses
