Take on the Data Protection Officer function for a large corporate group:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Assume the role of Data Protection Officer for more than 30 group companies with a common data protection management system and IT service provider
- Advise and inform those responsible and employees about their data protection obligations
- Monitor compliance with GDPR, BDSG, and other data protection regulations
- Advise on data protection impact assessments and support their implementation
- Collaborate with the responsible supervisory authorities and act as a contact person for data subjects
- Ensure accessibility for the supported group companies, authorities, and data subjects
- Proven professional suitability according to Art. 37 (5) GDPR and several years of in-depth experience in data protection law
- Practical experience as an internal or external Data Protection Officer
- Experience in supporting several legally independent companies or complex corporate groups
- High flexibility and quick response capability when supporting multiple clients
- In-depth knowledge of related governance, IT, and information security topics
- Fluent German and very good English skills
