Product Manager Senior – Financial Savings (PEA / CTO)

Project overview

Context of the mission

As part of strategic digital transformation projects, our client, a major player in the French banking sector, is looking for a Senior Project Manager / Product Manager specializing in financial savings and investment products.

The mission primarily concerns the strategic and functional scoping of complex projects related to digital investment journeys, particularly for Plans d'Épargne en Actions (PEA) and Comptes-Titres Ordinaires (CTO).

The consultant will be involved upstream of the projects to identify opportunities, define functional orientations, build business cases, and design optimized customer journeys, integrating regulatory, technical, and economic challenges.

An evolution towards delivery management is also envisaged.

• Lead the strategic and functional scoping phases of digital projects related to financial savings.
• Define and optimize customer journeys associated with PEA and CTO investment products.
• Identify value creation opportunities through a Product Discovery approach.
• Build business cases and evaluate project profitability.
• Ensure alignment of business needs with regulatory, technical, and budgetary constraints.
• Prepare projects for operational implementation and support their potential transition to the delivery phase.
• Develop high-performing, fluid, and regulatory-compliant digital investment journeys.
• Secure investment decisions and strategic orientations through structured scoping.
• Improve user experience and business value of financial savings services.
• Ensure functional and technical consistency of projects with the existing IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Expected deliverables:

• Conduct opportunity studies, competitive benchmarks, and feasibility analyses.
• Define functional scenarios and build associated roadmaps.
• Map dependencies and interconnections between applications and information systems.
• Analyze and optimize subscription, deposit, and order execution journeys for PEA and CTO products.
• Integrate regulatory constraints: MiFID II, KYC, investor risk profile, compliance, and GDPR.
• Conduct Product Discovery activities: user research, hypothesis formulation, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design ergonomic and accessible omnichannel journeys.
• Develop business cases, ROI calculations, and value analyses.
• Monitor project budgets, consumption, and IT department charge arbitration.
• Lead workshops with business, compliance, legal, marketing, and IT departments.
• Prepare and lead operational and steering committees (Comop / Copil).
• Formalize functional requirements and prepare delivery work in an Agile environment.
