Responsibilities

• End-to-end implementation of electronic data exchange processes (EDI) as part of the proALPHA ERP introduction
• Coordination with Seeburger for the implementation of inbound and outbound partner mappings
• Provision and coordination of guidelines and sample files for standard and individual mappings
• Installation and configuration of mappings in Seeburger BIS as well as creation of maptables and assignments
• Coordination and implementation of inbound and outbound process mappings based on PAI descriptions and sample data
• Installation and configuration of BIS processes and workflows
• Execution of functional tests for each EDI partner and process
• Execution and support of inbound tests, including the import of standard messages and special cases
• Coordination with proALPHA and Seeburger for tests, error analyses, and re-tests
• Setup and execution of outbound test scenarios in coordination with proALPHA, including the export of five scenarios per partner according to the provided task overview
• Validation of outgoing messages with the respective partners and coordination of error correction with proALPHA and Seeburger
• Support with mass tests and systematic analysis of occurring errors
• Documentation of mappings, configurations, test results, and open points
• Coordination with the EDI stream as well as preparation and support of the production-ready handover of EDI connections for the respective go-live

Requirements

• Sound practical experience with Seeburger BIS from version 6 onwards
• Good knowledge of BIS Process Design and workflow configuration
• Experience with the PAI interface
• Experience with VDA, EDIFACT, and ANSI X12 guidelines in the automotive and non-automotive environment
• Experience in the implementation and configuration of inbound and outbound EDI mappings
• Knowledge in conducting functional tests, error analyses, and structured error correction in the EDI environment
• Ability to coordinate with business departments, process owners, lead users, and external EDI partners
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong team player and excellent communication skills
• Experience in documenting technical configurations, test results, and open points
• Knowledge of SEEXML structures, especially for DELFOR, ORDERS, INVOIC, and DESADV
• Experience with proALPHA, ideally in the context of an ERP introduction or transformation
• Knowledge of Infor XPERT
• Experience in supporting go-live preparations and the production-ready handover of EDI connections
• Experience in collaborating with external EDI service providers and business partners
