• Functional implementation of the consolidation migration: Transferring existing consolidation processes from Cognos to NetSuite in close cooperation with technical managers.
• Operational Group Accounting: Processing and mapping group accounting-relevant business transactions, consolidation postings, and closing adjustments within the scope of the system change.
• Currency Translation: Transferring existing processes for currency translation, including exchange rate application and determination of currency differences, to NetSuite.
• Intercompany Consolidation: Functional implementation of group-internal reconciliations and eliminations, as well as ensuring the correct mapping of the corresponding business transactions.
• Subsidiaries and Investments: Transferring existing processes for mapping subsidiaries and investments, as well as associated consolidation postings and eliminations.
• Closing and Reporting: Ensuring that relevant consolidation postings, adjustments, and financial data can be correctly processed and evaluated in NetSuite after the migration.
• Functional support of the technical implementation: Clarification of specific accounting questions, specification of required calculation and posting logic, as well as testing of implemented functions using real business transactions.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Performing functional tests and reconciling consolidation results between Cognos and NetSuite.
