Interim Marketing Data Scientist

The interim professional contributes to new data science applications for marketing and customer strategy.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing ideas for new data science applications within marketing and customer strategy
• Collaborating with the Marketing, Data, and Machine Learning Engineering teams
• Building and implementing predictive models for customer behavior, customer retention, and customer value
• Applying statistical and machine learning techniques
• Translating marketing and business issues into solutions from data science
• Working with extensive customer and marketing datasets
• Managing the full lifecycle of models
• Ensuring automated, tested, scalable, and reliable solutions
• Translating complex analyses into clear insights and advice
• 4 to 6 years of work experience as a data scientist, preferably in the field of marketing, customer data, or CRM
• Demonstrable experience with building models from concept to production environment
• Solid knowledge of statistical models and machine learning, including regression and classification
• Practical experience with A/B testing, forecasting, and/or causal inference
• Excellent Python skills (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets
• Knowledge of MLOps principles
• Experience with implementing models in a production environment
• Strong stakeholder management and good communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for business context
• An independent, proactive, and results-oriented attitude
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Docker, CI/CD, and GitLab is a plus
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus
