Senior Marketing Consultant Customer Retention & Market Development

Project overview

As a senior marketing consultant, you will provide direction for customer retention and market development at NS, divided over two phases:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Investigating the current way of customer retention and loyalty and advising on improvements from a central marketing management perspective
• Defining KPIs, opportunities, and Way of Working around customer retention
• Specifying and driving marketing strategic initiatives, with a detailed roadmap and monitoring of progress and stakeholder management
• Making the impact of marketing investments clear by measuring return, customer movements, and budget effects
• Developing the strategy and roadmap for customer retention aimed at realizing previously defined opportunities
• Monitoring the realization of the roadmap by monitoring progress and making adjustments on strategic issues
• Advising managers, management team, and directors on choices, preconditions, and investments for effective growth.
• Diploma at HBO or WO level
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in marketing strategy, customer strategy, customer retention, loyalty growth, digital marketing, or commercial strategy
• Experience at multiple large and innovative organizations with at least 5000 workplaces
• Proven experience in advising senior management and directors on strategic marketing choices and investment issues
• Strong analytical skills for the integral assessment of customer value, return, market potential, and available resources
• Excellent oral and written command of the Dutch language
