Interim PMO for ERP Transformation Project (SAP)

Project overview

For our client, I am looking for an operationally strong personality who supports the overall project management as well as the functional project leads in day-to-day business and contributes to the professional steering of the entire program.

Responsibilities

• Support for project management in steering an external implementation partner
• Formulation, tracking, and quality assurance of work packages, results, and milestones
• Preparation and follow-up of project, departmental, and steering committee meetings, including minutes and action management
• Maintenance and further development of project-related registers and documentation (e.g., risks, decisions, actions, change requests)
• Creation and maintenance of project plans, status reports, resource and capacity overviews
• Support with forecasts, budget overviews, and project-related supplier management
• Ensuring compliance with defined quality standards and release processes
• Support in escalation and stakeholder management
• Participation in the further development of PMO standards, templates, and governance structures

Requirements

• Several years of experience as PMO in complex ERP / SAP transformation projects (ideally S4/HANA)
• Experience in collaborating with implementation partners and various stakeholder groups
• Sound knowledge of classic and hybrid project management methods
• Confident use of common PM and collaboration tools (e.g., project planning, ticketing, and documentation systems)
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience in organizations with complex governance and decision-making structures
• Knowledge of FI/CO, MM, or PS modules
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent)
• Experience in regulated or publicly influenced environments
