Interim Primary School Principal 80% (I am also looking for positions at 3 other locations in German-speaking Switzerland)

For a school in Central Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced school principal to take over the operational leadership of the primary school for approximately seven months and ensure smooth school operations until the new principal takes up their position.

A responsible leadership role in a dedicated educational environment with a well-coordinated school leadership team awaits you.

Your Challenge

• Operational and organizational leadership of the primary school
• Leadership, guidance, and support of teachers
• Ensuring smooth school operations
• Responsibility for school support programs (IF, IS, IBBF)
• Coordination of timetable and deployment planning
• Recruitment of new teachers
• Contact person for parents and handling of school-related concerns
• Close collaboration with the existing school leadership team

• Completed school leadership training and practical experience in school leadership
• Sound pedagogical knowledge, preferably in the primary school sector
• Proven leadership and organizational experience
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Decisiveness, assertiveness, and networked thinking
• High social competence and strong communication skills
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing structures and take responsibility
• Project start: January 2027
