Responsibilities
Requirements Profile
- Planning, steering, and implementation of a Europe-wide VMware to Hyper-V migration
- Creation, maintenance, and monitoring of the project plan including milestone and resource management
- Coordination of infrastructure, network, server, and virtualization teams
- Analysis of the existing infrastructure and derivation of suitable migration strategies
- Ensuring a smooth transition from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V
- Accompanying technical workshops and coordination meetings
- Identification and management of project risks as well as development of corresponding countermeasures
- Support with architecture and infrastructure decisions
- Ensuring operational readiness and execution of the go-live
- Documentation of project activities and migration results
- Conducting knowledge transfer and handover to internal IT teams

- Several years of experience as a project manager and consultant in infrastructure and transformation projects
- Demonstrable experience with migrations from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V
- Profound knowledge in the area of virtualization technologies
- Experience in managing complex infrastructure projects
- Very good understanding of server, network, and data center infrastructures
- Knowledge of VLAN, SAN, and vSAN technologies
- Experience with Dell servers and Dell switching infrastructures
- Knowledge of handling Cisco and Dell firewalls
- Experience in collaborating with international teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and moderation skills
- Very good German and English skills
- Knowledge in the area of Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V clusters
