Job description
Seeking an experienced Solution Architect for a large program focused on information transition, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and related integrations.
Project overview
For a comprehensive program around the information transition, there is a need for an experienced Solution Architect:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Further developing and applying the target and program architecture
- Translating architectural principles into practical design choices and guidelines for project teams
- Drafting, updating, and reviewing Project Start Architectures and Solution Architectures
- Supporting projects in testing designs against applicable architectural frameworks
- Ensuring the mutual coherence between Microsoft 365, DMS/RMA, applications, integrations, and data platforms
- Providing advice on API connections, service buses, data exchange, metadata, and authorizations
- Identifying risks and interdependencies and proposing suitable solutions
- Updating and maintaining existing architectural products
- Creating buy-in from technical, organizational, and administrative stakeholders
- Transferring architectural knowledge and working methods to the organization
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) in ICT, Computer Sciences, Software Development, Business Informatics, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience as an architect within complex ICT landscapes
- Experience in independently setting up Project Start Architectures and/or Solution Architectures
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with integration architecture and designing connections between systems via APIs and service buses
- Experience with organizing architectural decision-making and creating stakeholder buy-in
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a (Solution) Architect within a public organization comparable to a provincial organization in terms of size and complexity
- Availability for an average of 36 hours per week during the assignment
- Available from December 7, 2026, or a date to be mutually agreed upon
