Intune Specialist

Project overview

Our client, a leading company in Central Switzerland, is looking to strengthen the Client & Collaboration team with an experienced Intune Specialist. The focus is on the operation and further development of the existing Microsoft Intune environment for several thousand notebooks, as well as support in the transformation of the workplace environment from Citrix to Convertibles. You will take on challenging tasks in the areas of software packaging, staging, rollout, and configuration of Intune policies and actively contribute your technical expertise to the team.

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Support, operation, and further development of the existing Microsoft Intune environment for approximately 3,200 notebooks and in the future approx. 500 additional developer notebooks
• Support in the transformation of users from Citrix to working on Convertibles
• Analysis and resolution of challenging staging problems
• Execution of demanding packaging and creation of packaging checklists
• Technical support for the rollout to testers, pilot groups, and rollout waves
• Creation of reports for tracking security updates and application rollouts
• Configuration and further development of Intune policies, Zero Trust, Single Sign-on (SSO), VPN, and startup scripts
• Support and supervision of the deployed solutions Patch My PC and Admin By Request
• Knowledge transfer and sharing of technical expertise within the team

Requirements

Soft Skills

• Several years of in-depth experience in Microsoft Intune, particularly in managing Windows notebooks; knowledge of macOS is an advantage
• Sound experience in the operation and further development of Intune environments
• Experience with demanding software packaging, staging processes, and rollouts
• Knowledge in the configuration of Intune policies, Zero Trust, SSO, VPN, and startup scripts
• Knowledge of Patch My PC and Admin By Request is an advantage
• Experience in an agile working environment
• Good communication skills in dealing with internal employees
• High awareness of data protection and compliance with strict data protection requirements
• Very good German language skills at at least C1 level for communication with specialist departments and development teams
