We are an IT service and consulting company with a focus on Microsoft technologies, founded in 1999. Today we employ over 450 employees. They manage diverse and demanding projects for public and private clients from conception to realization.

For our project, we are looking for an IT Architect - ArchiMate and Web Service Technologies with Functional Sub-Project Management for a public sector client // Wiesbaden /// 01.01.2027 – 31.12.2028 // on a freelance basis.

Framework Conditions:

Responsibilities

Structure complex functional and technical requirements and develop solution approaches

Design and further develop IT architectures

Functionally lead a sub-project

Design interfaces to external systems

Model and document architectures, processes, and interfaces

Elicit, coordinate, and track requirements

Implement functional and technical target states

Requirements

At least 200 person-days of demonstrable project experience in each of the following areas:

Software Architecture

Web service technologies (HTTP/S, REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, JAX-RS, SOAP, WSDL, JAX-WS)

Modeling with ArchiMate, UML, and BPMN, as well as associated tools

Requirements Management

At least 5 relevant certifications in software/IT architecture, e.g., iSAQB CPSA-F/-A, TOGAF, ArchiMate, IREB CPRE, OCEB, or Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure). Only certificates acquired through an examination by an external organization count, not certificates of attendance.

Current project experience as a Software/IT Architect (ideally last assignment within the last year)

Very good German and good English skills

Desirable:

Several years of experience as a software architect

Experience in EU projects

Work in agile teams

Project experience with public clients or in the KRITIS (critical infrastructure) environment
