Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Further develop the core banking system in the backend with a focus on account, credit, and customer processes
• Implement new requirements with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Microservices, RESTful web services, and Spring Boot
• Create and maintain automated tests and technical documentation to ensure software quality
• Support troubleshooting and bug fixing in existing software components
• Maintain and extend existing application modules
• Participate in the analysis and conception of new functional requirements
• Completed degree in Computer Science (FH, ETH, University) or equivalent education
• Several years of experience in backend development with Java, JEE, Microservices, REST, and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, ideally Oracle/PL/SQL
• Experience with container platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift
• Language skills: German
• High initiative and strong commitment
• Structured, analytical, and quality-conscious way of working
• Quick comprehension and enjoyment of teamwork
