IT Consultant – GitLab Migration Remote

Project overview

For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for support that meets the following requirements:

Responsibilities

• Advising the client on the planning and conception of a GitLab migration
• Analysis of the existing self-hosted infrastructure and the technical framework conditions
• Development of a migration concept for the introduction of GitLab
• Evaluation of possible migration strategies and technical requirements
• Identification of potential risks, dependencies, and challenges
• Creation of a structured migration roadmap including recommendations for action
• Documentation of results and coordination with relevant contact persons

Requirements

• Sound experience with GitLab and planning GitLab migrations
• Proven experience from at least one accompanied GitLab migration
• Good knowledge in the area of self-hosted environments and IT infrastructures
• Experience in creating technical migration concepts and target architectures
• Knowledge in evaluating migration strategies and technical dependencies
• Strong consulting skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills
• Location: Remote
• Duration: Immediately

• Utilization: Partial utilization 2-3 days a week
