We are looking for an IT Employee (m/f/d) – Hardware & Asset Management in the IT Basis and Infrastructure department for a position at Bayerischer Rundfunk.

The team is responsible for the procurement, storage, provision, and decommissioning of IT devices, especially workplace hardware, as well as their documentation in the asset management system.

The profile sought:

• You advise users on client hardware, mobile devices, and multifunction devices.
• You clarify individual usage requirements and support the selection of suitable hardware.
• You research suitable IT hardware, especially for workplaces with specific requirements.
• You create and process tickets in the IT Service Management system OTRS.
• You handle the processing of service exchange tickets and monitor their processing status in the process flow.
• You process requirements related to multifunction devices and support the associated ITSM processes.
• You maintain and manage asset, location, and user data in the asset management system Spider.
• You ensure careful and up-to-date inventory management of IT assets.
• If necessary, you support warehouse management with transport, storage, and inventory tasks.
• You participate in the design of workflows.
• You create documentation and evaluations.
• You attend meetings and support coordination within existing processes.
• Completed training as an IT specialist (w/m/d) or an equivalent qualification
• ITIL Foundation certification (at least version 3 or higher)
• Knowledge of client hardware, mobile devices, and multifunction devices
• Experience in user support and clarifying usage requirements
• Experience with IT Service Management systems as well as OTRS or a comparable ticketing system
• Experience with asset management systems
• Experience in inventory management and maintenance of asset, location, and user data
• Very good MS Office skills
• Knowledge of creating documentation and evaluations
• Experience with warehouse, transport, or inventory tasks in the IT environment
• At least 1 year of media experience in a broadcasting institution (full service provider)
• or at least 3 years of media experience in a production and broadcasting environment
