Seeking an IT Field Engineer for the Brandenburg police IT service environment to provide onsite support, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage IT workstations.

For a role in the IT service environment of the Brandenburg police, we are looking for a dedicated IT Field Engineer with technical know-how and a solution-oriented approach.
Job Description:
IT Support: Independent analysis and resolution of technical faults in 2nd level and onsite support
Workstation IT: Installation, configuration, and support of Windows clients, software, and peripheral devices
Network & Hardware: Support with LAN connections, cabling, and technical faults
Rollouts & Migrations: Execution of hardware replacement, client rollouts, and workstation relocations
On-site Service: Technical support for police departments within the ITSC Potsdam's area of responsibility
Documentation: Processing tickets and maintaining IT inventories and technical records
Teamwork: Collaboration with helpdesk, field engineers, and IT departments
Profile Sought:
Completed vocational training in the IT field, ideally as a specialist in system integration or IT system electronics
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT support, field service, or a comparable technical IT service
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows client systems, workstation software, hardware, and peripheral devices
Basic knowledge of network and LAN technologies
Experience in fault analysis, troubleshooting, and with client rollouts, migrations, and hardware replacement
Proficient use of IT ticketing systems and technical documentation
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as teamwork skills and resilience
Valid driver's license class B
Willingness for regular on-site assignments at various police departments and properties within the ITSC Potsdam's area of responsibility
Very good German language skills: at least C1 level
Willingness for security screening (SÜ2)
