Job description
The role involves analyzing and documenting IT financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as developing concepts for IT service management and integrated data foundations.
Project overview
+ Analysis and documentation of existing IT budget control, particularly regarding budget planning, forecasting, CAPEX/OPEX allocation, variance analysis, and management reporting, including deriving professional improvement suggestions.
+ Conceptualization and further development of foundations for IT Financial Management, including cost models, cost allocation methods, economic considerations, and professional ITFM standards.
+ Analysis and conceptual further development of IT Service Management regarding service catalog, service lifecycle, performance allocation, and the linking of IT services with cost, usage, and performance data.
+ Development and documentation of governance foundations for methods, processes, key figures, and control standards within the overall IT, including the presentation of existing deviations and professional harmonization suggestions.
+ Conceptualization of an integrated data and reporting foundation for budgets, costs, IT services, usage, and capacities, including the description of required data sources, key figures, data relationships, and quality requirements.
+ Analysis and documentation of project-related interfaces between IT departments, controlling, purchasing, service management, and IT leadership, as well as preparation of professional clarification and decision-making needs.
+ Identification and evaluation of standardization, optimization, and automation potentials, including the documentation of benefits, prerequisites, dependencies, and possible implementation options.
+ Creation of project-related result documentation and decision proposals for the addressed topic areas, including comprehensible recommendations, assumptions, and open points.
Requirements
+ over 5 years of relevant project experience in IT Financial Management, IT Controlling, or IT Budget Control
+ very good knowledge of ITFM and ITSM, as well as in structuring service catalogs and service lifecycles
+ very good knowledge of relevant frameworks e.g. ITIL, TBM or FinOps
+ experience in developing cross-departmental control models and structures
+ in-depth experience in reporting, BI and data-based control models
+ practical experience with relevant governance and control frameworks, especially ITIL, TBM and/or FinOps
+ German spoken and written
