IT Project Consultant - Steel Industry

Project overview

Context

The mission is part of Project Orion, a strategic industrial transformation program for the PAM site.

This project involves replacing the two current blast furnaces with an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), enabling an approximately 80% reduction in CO2 emissions and a complete modernization of the industrial facilities.

Orion involves the creation of a new dedicated industrial zone (~3.5 ha), the installation of new process equipment, the overhaul of infrastructures (electrical, fluid, IT networks), as well as the implementation of a modernized industrial application landscape integrating supervision, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WMS (Warehouse Management System) with strong OT/IT integration.

The IT consultant's mission directly contributes to this transformation by supporting the design, integration, and deployment of the application solutions necessary for the proper functioning of the future industrial installation.
