IT Project Coordinator / PMO for AI Initiatives

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Coordinator/PMO to support an international client. In this role, you will support the technical IT lead in coordinating and documenting project updates, tasks, and documentation.

Your main tasks include managing project setups, tasks, and documentation in Service Now, Jira, and Confluence. You will proactively track open tasks, actions, deadlines, and dependencies across internal IT teams and coordinate meetings and team alignments. Furthermore, you will be responsible for tracking compliance, GDPR, security, and AI governance checks, as well as coordinating stakeholders from various areas such as AI, data management, architecture, security, compliance, legal, and procurement.

We expect extensive experience as an IT Project Coordinator/PMO, ideally in data and analytics projects or IT AI projects. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments and proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow are required. Understanding of GDPR and compliance requirements is necessary. Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.

The project starts in November with a planned duration until the end of the year (with an extension option for a total of 6 months). The position is mainly remote with occasional on-site assignments in Germany (maximum 20%). The scope of work is 5 days per week. Fluent English skills are required. This is not a technical position – no AI expertise necessary.
