Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an IT Project Manager for a tool rollout (m/f/d).

Project objective: The project aims to roll out Eptos as a common platform for managing the library of part and information classification standards, including item management for a specific business area of our client. It covers requirements, rollout planning, system connections, supplier coordination, testing, training and handover to IT operations, while following the required project management process.

Responsibilities

• Shared responsibility for the project in coordination with the Business Project Manager.
• Planning of project phases, including IT work packages, and technical coordination of the project plan with the respective team representatives and all involved parties.
• Covering all standard project management disciplines, in particular scheduling, detailed work planning, risks, issues, budget and costs, testing and cutover.
• Ensuring adherence to the PMI-based methodology, including quality gates.
• Documenting project status and progress at regular intervals.
• Preparing and moderating Steering Committee meetings.

Requirements

Project language: German and English

Remote share: 90 %

• Experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Several full-cycle projects as an IT Project Manager.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and moderation skills, with the ability to reach agreements across business, IT, suppliers and other involved parties.
• Strong project planning, coordination and documentation skills.
• Experience in preparing and moderating workshops.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project streams and handle dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
• Experience coordinating external suppliers and internal IT teams.
• General technical understanding of material/item management, enterprise systems and system interfaces.
• Understanding of the functional context of ECLASS.
• PLM and SAP material master knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
