IT Project Manager

Project overview

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit an IT Project Manager subcontractor on an initial 4 month contract.

Responsibilities

Skillset/experience required:

• Manage the overall programme of works in concert with team peers, supporting the Head of UK Network Delivery in their mission.
• Project manage specific major pieces of work within the portfolio
• Support and where necessary intervene with engineering staff managing smaller work to ensure that these are being administered appropriately and in line with company regulations
• Work closely with the network administrator to ensure the team’s work is properly supported at an administrative and organisational level
• Project management
• Reporting and Stakeholder engagement
• Budget and procurement
• Familiar with JIRA as a programme overview and project management tool (preferable)

Project details

£82.00 per hour

Stevenage

Hybrid / Remote working: 1 day a week onsite, the rest working from home

Contract: 37 Hours per week

Overtime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ‘time and a quarter’

4 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)

IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

IT Project Manager Job Description:

The group network solutions and development team is a division of the network and security operating centre directorate which looks after UK network project delivery, UK programmes-related solutions, and group network architecture harmonisation. This role is based in the UK network delivery team which works directly or through delivery partner teams to execute the UK network programme.
