Project overview

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an IT Security Engineer.

The Cybersecurity Architecture team is responsible for implementing, developing, and maintaining security monitoring systems used by the SOC, as well as for defining and implementing security architecture.

• Maintenance and development of systems supporting cybersecurity monitoring and protection against cyberattacks
• Cooperation with IT regarding changes in digital systems and processes related to cybersecurity
• Support in IT projects concerning cybersecurity (IT security consulting)
• Performing security and resilience analyses of the bank's systems against current cyber threats
• Support for the Security Operations Center in the IT security incident management process
• Participation in the creation and development of the bank's IT security standards
• Constant support from a personal agent, who takes care of your project continuity, client contact, necessary formalities, work comfort, and development

Project details

Warsaw and/or Łódź, 80% remote work (occasional team meetings at the client's office approx. 2-4 times a month)

Candidate Profile

• Min. 3 years of professional experience in IT, or 2 years in IT security
• Practical experience with security technologies and solutions
• Extensive knowledge of application security and teleinformatic systems security
• Knowledge in the areas of: network technologies, Ms Windows/RHEL operating systems
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure threat and vulnerability analysis techniques
• Knowledge of technologies related to securing the Internet network interface
• Knowledge of IT security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
• Higher education; technical fields preferred: computer science, mathematics
• Knowledge of English enabling fluent communication, as well as writing and reading documentation
• Certificates confirming acquired qualifications in IT security
• Commitment to tasks, good work organization, reliability and willingness to deepen knowledge, communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under time pressure and stress resistance
