Job description
Seeking an IT Service & Support Engineer for a 12+ month project in Cologne, starting October 2026. The role involves network configuration, remote support, and problem analysis.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and operation of complex networks (WAN, LAN, WLAN, BLE) with Aruba/HPE components
- Remote and telephone support for colleagues and on-site service providers, problem analysis, and infrastructure expansion
- Identification of structural problems and optimization to reduce incident volume
- Creation of application documentation and reports
- Execution of quality reviews
- Collaboration with the Product Owner and departments to coordinate technical requirements and business processes

- Experience with routers, switches, access points, and other network devices
- Confident use of network analysis tools (e.g., Ping, Traceroute, Network Analyzer) for error diagnosis
- Very good knowledge of the required system landscapes Atlassian, JIRA, Confluence
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and MS Teams
- Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and IP addressing
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical content understandably
- Very good German and good English skills
