For our client in the retail industry, we are currently looking for an IT Software Engineer (m/f/d).

Due to client-internal requirements, we can only offer consultants who are willing to enter into a project-based permanent employment with us (Seven Principles).

• Further development of the central data distribution platform in the area of supplier master data
• Distribution of data via REST, Kafka and SNOWFALKE, etc.
• Conception and design as well as qualified documentation of IT solutions
• Development of scalable applications considering best practices such as Clean Code
• Support of existing applications in ongoing operation and smooth application migration.
• Very good Java knowledge (Backend) and Spring knowledge
• Good experience with synchronous and asynchronous interfaces (REST APIs, Topics)
• Experience in practical work with Git; GitLab CI/CD, Maven, relational databases; SQL, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, IntelliJ, HELM
• Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA / Confluence
• Experience with the following tools/systems would be nice to have: Kafka, Kubernetes, YAML/JSON, Mockito, Grafana, Liquibase
• Very proactive work style, not just pure development with perfect stories
