Responsibilities

• Operation and administration of application and infrastructure components
• Planning and execution of system migrations and functional tests
• Monitoring of systems and ensuring ongoing operation
• Installation, configuration, and updating of applications
• Error analysis and resolution, as well as technical 2nd-level support
• Coordination with manufacturers and 3rd-level support
• Creation and maintenance of operational and system documentation

• Sound knowledge in the administration of Windows and Linux servers
• Experience with network topologies, proxies, firewalls, and load balancing
• Knowledge in the administration of Tomcat, JBoss, and IIS
• Experience with at least one database: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Knowledge of ITIL and IT security / BSI basic protection
