Project overview

The test team plans, coordinates, and conducts overall integration and acceptance testing. The integration of systems in conjunction with the business application within the company-wide application landscape, as well as technical and business acceptance, will be tested. The goal is to demonstrate the correct behavior of the overall system for production release.

The service provider will independently and self-organized perform the following tasks:

Skills

• Test Coordination (Preparation & Execution): Lead role in test preparation and execution for larger test teams; creation of test and capacity planning; continuous prioritization & organization of all test tasks; continuous reporting of test progress to test management; identification and elimination of test obstacles; creation of effort estimates; ensuring test quality; creation and moderation of presentations.
• Test Design: Analysis of relevant documents (business concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, user stories, etc.) and derivation of test designs; creation of test scenarios and test cases; identification and generation of test data; consulting on test design; quality assurance of test execution.
• Test Execution: Testing of the software for functional and non-functional requirements; end-to-end testing of test cases as well as recording and documentation of defects; written documentation of all results and malfunctions in test reports; consulting on remediation strategy; execution of specified test catalogs; independent use of specific test tools.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in test preparation (test design) and functional test execution
• Proof by: Experience level in years
• Number/Proof: Intermediate (> 3 years of experience)
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level

• Practical experience in collaboration with business departments and IT

• Very good knowledge of test methods and their application in agile and classic software development processes
