Develop and enhance modern backend microservices using Java/Kotlin & Spring Boot, design and implement REST APIs, and contribute to a scalable microservice architecture.

Responsibilities
- Development and enhancement of modern backend microservices with Java/Kotlin & Spring Boot
- Design and implementation of REST APIs (OpenAPI)
- Contribution to a scalable microservice architecture
- Further development of cloud-native applications
- Performance optimization as well as error analysis and resolution
- Setup and maintenance of automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
- Conducting code reviews and close collaboration in an agile team
Requirements
- Several years of experience in backend development with Java and/or Kotlin
- Very good knowledge of Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Very good knowledge of REST APIs
- Sound SQL knowledge (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience in agile projects (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have
- GitHub Actions / CI-CD Tools
- OpenTelemetry / Observability
- Azure Cloud
- TypeScript or Angular (Frontend collaboration)
- Test automation

Duration/Utilization: Full-time until 31.12.2027 (possibly with an option for extension)
