Junior SAP P2P Functional Process Consultant – AP & E-Invoicing

Project overview

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Junior SAP O2C Functional Process Consultant – FI-AR, SD & Analytics (m/f/d).

• Start date: 01.12.2026 (or earlier)
• Initial project duration: 12 months with option for extension
• Work model: Predominantly home office, with regular visits to the Berlin offices. Further, infrequent travel cannot be ruled out (to be determined).

Responsibilities

Professional background

• Implementation of the blueprint for Accounts Receivable and the associated Order-to-Cash processes (SAP FI in combination with SAP SD). This includes, among others:
• functional design and implementation of Accounts Receivable processes,
• incoming payments, clearing, and reconciliation,
• integration of billing and financial processes, and
• testing, validation, and documentation of the processes defined in the blueprint.
• Analysis and optimization of existing processes, ensuring alignment with SAP standard functionalities and business requirements.
• Conception, development, and validation of relevant reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including the definition of business requirements, KPIs, and reporting logic.
• Implementation of interfaces between SAP and upstream systems, focusing on functional requirements, process integration, and testing.
• Implementation of Accounts Receivable, incoming payment, and associated O2C processes, including process design, identification and resolution of functional issues, coordination with relevant stakeholders, and change management activities.
• Excellent functional knowledge in SAP FI, particularly in Accounts Payable/Vendor Accounting, including PO and FI invoice management, as well as in SAP MM, especially regarding the integration of payment-related processes.
• Very good understanding of SAP standard business processes and end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Proven practical experience in functional process design, blueprint implementation, and optimization of invoice and payment management processes.
• Practical experience with E-Invoicing processes and the associated business requirements.
• Good understanding of SAP system interfaces, process integration, and automation possibilities.
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, develop functional solutions, and support their implementation and testing.
• High degree of personal responsibility, structured way of working, and the ability to drive implementation tasks independently.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in collaborating with business departments and IT teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English. German language skills are welcome but not required.
