Lawyer Public Order & Safety/ Bibob Coordinator

Project overview

As a lawyer OOV/Bibob coordinator, you are the legal linchpin within the municipality's Safety cluster.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Advising the executive board and the mayor on complex issues regarding drug properties, undermining, demonstrations, and the Bibob Act
• Guiding and coordinating Bibob investigations within the organization
• Acting as a sparring partner for the junior lawyer Public Order and Safety
• Collaborating with chain partners such as the police and the RIEC
• Completed legal education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level
• At least 3 years of experience, gained in the last 5 years, as a lawyer, legal advisor, or legal employee in the field of Public Order and Safety at a municipal organization
• Experience with administrative law instruments within the OOV domain, including closures based on the Opium Act, area bans, camera surveillance, and demonstrations
• Plus: completed legal education at WO master's level
• Plus: knowledge of and experience with the General Administrative Law Act, Municipalities Act, Bibob Act, Opium Act, and privacy legislation within the safety domain
• Plus: experience with independently drafting legal advice and administrative decisions, including objection and appeal procedures
• Plus: experience with Bibob issues, including integrity advice and the role of Bibob coordinator
• Plus: experience with complex files regarding undermining, drug properties, demonstrations, or area-specific safety issues
• Plus: collaboration experience within a safety chain such as police, Public Prosecution Service, or RIEC
